Board of Trustees
A team of 9 board members with a diversity of experience in youth issues covering all facets of development provide an oversight into the management of the institution. Two of these board members are youth representatives.
YETTs Secretariat
The secretariat is responsible for day to day operations of YETT headed by the Director who is appointed by the board. The organization comprises of 9 permanent staff members and two interns.

DIRECTOR Lucy Mazingi Lucy is a revered activist with a proven track-record of bringing marginalised groups of the society to the core of sustainable development programmes. Lucy has won a number of awards among the NGO Director of the year in 2010. She holds an Honours Degree in Economics and a Masters in Women’s Law from the University of Zimbabwe and currently sits on a two other boards of recognised institutions.

FINANCE & ADMINISTRATION MANAGER Kudzai Mberi Kudzai has an art of perfection and accuracy with an ability to have an aeroplane view on strategic matters which greatly assists the organisation in making accurate forecasts and plans needed in budgeting. Resultantly, this has kept YETT’s finance intact. He is a holder of a Bachelor of Accounting Science (B Compt) as well as Bachelor of Science Honours Degree in Regional & Urban Planning (Bsc HRUP) majoring in Project Planning & Management. In addition, he has also completed three (3) year Articles of Clerkship Training with a reputable Audit firm.

PROGRAMMES OFFICER Alice Chihava Result oriented and hardworking woman is what best describes Alice. She is motivated by her passion to see young people participating in national or developmental processes. Alice good organizing skills have been an asset in facilitating successful programmes and events for the organization. She holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communications and Geography from the Catholic University.

PROJECTS OFFICER Doreen Kamwendo She is a mid wife of young women’s dreams and is keen to transform their mindsets so that they can be able to create a world which is conducive for them. Doreen’s experience comes from once being a student involved in youth programming up to today where I am in a position of facilitating programmes for young people. She is also currently studying towards a Master of Science in International Relations with Bindura University.

INFORMATION OFFICER Itayi Usaiwevhu An effective communicator, with a career spanning for over five years starting at the ZBC news where he hosted the main news bulletin at the age of 22 then expanding to include corporate communications, e-marketing and lately youth development. A vivid team player who is able to get things done with or through others with keen interest to experiment with virgin ideas.

FINANCE ASSISTANT Lynette Chitewere Lynnet Chitewere joined the Finance and Administration Department in March 2005 as the Administrative Assistant until 2009 where she became Finance and Administration Assistant. She holds a SAAA (Southern Africa Association of Accountancy) Diploma in Accounting and her aspiration is to further her education to become a fully qualified accounting technician.
